Richard has been active in the music industry for many years. He has done extensive studio work and was one of the original members of the Irish band “The Leprechauns”. He performed at Barney`s Gold Reef City for 4 years as solo guitar entertainer, in Dubai at the Intercontinental and the Dubai Marine Hotels, and at the Hilton Al-Ain and Radisson SAS Hotels, Oman.

Vodi is a young attractive vocalist who is also a singing teacher. She has performed with various duos and bands in the Jo`burg area and did the Tina Turner and Abba show at Gracelands Casino. She joined Richard on his return from Dubai in April 2005. One of the trademarks of this team is their ability and complete willingness to play almost any request received from their audience. Richard and Vodi are a professional and vibey team, well suited for any type of function with their massive repertoire.

Richard and Vodi have just completed a 5-night per week, three-month contract at Carnival City Casino. Always prepared to go that “extra mile”, they are welcomed back wherever they perform.

DELIA LAYTON performs as a solo artiste at top venues and private parties across South Africa. Her repertoire ranges from relaxing background music to golden oldies, ballads, sing-a-longs, up-tempo contemporary rock, pop and light jazz.

Delia plays the electric guitar, alto saxophone, flute and keyboards. Programmed sequencing gives her a sound equal in quality to a full backing band. In addition, she provides all the music and “calling” for Barn Dances.

At a square dance the emphasis is on fun, so Delia teaches the dances in a light-hearted manner, quickly getting people into the spirit of the occasion. The dances are simple and easy to follow, thereby involving the entire audience, rather than having them stand around observing the “experts” first! Games and competitions are also organised.

Delia finds it great to alternate the “called” dances with regular dance music such as rock ‘n roll, etc., to vary the pace and enhance the function. Her greatest strength as a performer is her ability to “read a crowd” well and adapt her music to suit the occasion and mood of the audience.

Dynamic and versatile, Four Past Midnight pride themselves not only in the professional standard of their music, but also in the balance that they are able to maintain between energy and elegance during live performances.

Four Past Midnight consists of three members: Giselle is the band’s lead vocalist. She also plays the saxophone, flute and acoustic guitar. Apart from playing the bass guitar, Dave contributes to performances with some lead and superb backing vocals. David, who also contributes vocally, is the band’s lead and rhythm guitarist.

Four Past Midnight’s members have worked with each other in various capacities in the entertainment industry since 1998 and, collectively, bring over two decades of experience to their performances. They have rendered performances at venues such as Sun City, The Hilton Hotel, The Hyatt Hotel, The Carousel, The Cape Intercontinental Sun and Montecasino. As Four Past Midnight, Giselle, David and Dave have entertained guests at functions such as The Miss World Pageant, The Miss South Africa Pageant and The Nedbank Million Dollar Golf Challenge.

SIBHENGU was founded by SIPHO BHENGU, who is responsible for leading the band as well as composing and arranging their music. He is a specialist in brass harmonies and plays tenor saxophone. He started his musical career playing rhythm guitar in the mid-fifties and switched to saxophone much later.

Sipho is a former member of the very successful "Mango Groove" and he contributed to their sound with his brass harmonies and backing vocals.

SIBHENGU is extremely versatile and plays Jazz Standards as well as African Kwela, Marabe, Bossanovas, Blues, Disco, Pop, Reggae and Ballads.

There is something for everybody in their repertoire and SIBHENGU guarantees to get 'em dancing!

SIBHENGU is available as a two, three, four or five-piece outfit, depending on the occasion. Vocals are performed by the lovely Thandi Mtshali.

A Rock 'n Roll band that really cooks, one of South Africa's best. It comprises of six talented musicians ranging from ages 25 to 50, some whom have played Rock 'n Roll for nearly 30 years! The concept is true to the original style and sure to keep the dance floor moving and the feet tapping (you can't stand still).

Sounds Like Thunder was formed in 1990. They play the hits from 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's – number one songs that will be a feast of memories, and these experienced performers have already played over 140 Beach Parties at Sun City in the last seven years, as well as at numerous private and corporate functions in all the major cities in South Africa and surrounding countries, for most of the major big companies. Their equipment is state of the art.

The group consists of: Keyboards, Bass & Vocals, Drums, Lead Guitar & Vocals and Female Vocalist.

Kirsten is the band’s lead singer. She also plays the keyboard and is a very accomplished piano and vocal teacher. Kirsten studied music at the University of Pretoria. This friendly singer has been in the music industry for close on seven years.

Dave is the Bass player for the band. He is also a very accomplished vocalist and has been in the entertainment industry for over sixteen years. Mobile disco is also one of his great loves.

Together these two talented musicians create a beautiful harmony for everyone to enjoy and indulge.
