Gary started dabbling in Magic in 1976, when he was still at school. His passion for the art has fuelled his flawless technique.

Gary performs regularly in the corporate arena as well as at pubs & restaurants (residencies) and private parties. He is equally at home on a cabaret stage or as a comedy walkabout magician, performing Micro Magic to smaller groups of people. He also acts as compere at many functions and promotions.

Gary is a respected member of the South African magic fraternity. He was elected as President of the East Rand Magic Society four times. He has co-ordinated five national magic conventions and is regularly asked to be a judge at the national magic championships.

Graham Swallow is an accomplished magician with a fun sense of humour. He performs regularly at corporate events, casinos and private parties where clever magic and a high "WOW Factor" are the order of the day. Every so often, an entertainer comes along that is head and shoulders above what we are used to seeing. World-class performer Magic Man is one of the most experienced and well-travelled magicians in the country. He has been touring North America, Canada and Asia for the past 15 years building an impressive list of achievements. From the Rolling Stones at the Sticky Fingers restaurant in London to the "wrap-up" party in Vancouver for U2's Zooropa Tour, Magic Man has entertained the finest! He has worked at the Edinburgh Festival and headlined at top nightspots across Europe, Canada and South Korea. He also spent two years on some of the finest cruise-liners in the world, entertaining the rich and famous. His show has tremendous appeal for all age groups, as demonstrated by his non-stop schedule of corporate engagements. Most recently, he was chosen to represent South Africa at the International Arts and Culture Festival in Frankfurt, Germany. Alongside other South African superstars like Mango Groove and Sipho Hotstix Mabuso, Magic Man was a huge hit, receiving encore after encore. Since 1999, Magic Man has been an evergreen hit at Comedy Express evenings. He has appeared on the first Comedy Express Video, M-Net's It's a Funny Country and SABC 2's Chuckle and Chat Show, and was also invited to work at the 1998 Smirnoff International Comedy Festival in Durban and Cape Town. Whether he's working an intimate room or a large pub, Magic Man's boyish, charming blend of gags and unbelievable sleight-of-hand keeps the whole room enthralled.

Born at an early age in the little English village of Wedlock (well, not exactly in the village, but just a little outside it). His father was a contortionist and his mother a mind-reader, so from birth Mauro was blessed with hindsight.

At school, Mauro took all the first prizes for athletics (until he was caught and made to put them back). At university Mauro obtained masters degree in medieval plumbing, and was made Honorary Chugalug of the Varsity Highball Team.

Mauro has become world famous in Bez Valley, and his brand of entertainment has taken him as far afield as Benoni, Boksburg and Brixton - his name appearing in a big book - the Johannesburg telephone directory.

Apart from his wide experience (both here and overseas) in restaurant, cabaret, club and stage entertainment, Mauro has been involved in product launches, conferences and training seminars – tailoring his unique mixture of HUMOUR AND ILLUSION to suit every occasion.

Michael’s mentalism show is a fascinating and entertaining journey into the power of the mind, taking the audience on a roller-coaster ride of incredible feats and mind-boggling routines.

The show is constantly evolving and changing, and can be tailored to suit the needs of the client. Typically, a show lasts between half an hour and an hour, to gain maximum impact.

The show is funny, interactive and unfathomable to the audience, all of whom are constantly involved in the process, both actively and passively.

The show has nothing to do with black magic or the occult and uses purely scientific methods to achieve the feats that are demonstrated. Similarly, Michael does not make use of stooges and does not pre-condition any of his audience members to respond in a particular way. It is all impromptu and ‘in the moment’.

At the start, Michael warms up by demonstrating feats of mathematical ability. As the show continues, he shows the audience impossible memory feats, predicts in advance what course of action various audience members will take, subtly influences these courses of action by making subtle suggestions, picks up thoughts that exist only in audience members’ minds and performs other wonderous feats.

Although every show is different, some of the routines that Michael performs include:

Mathematical calculations performed at lightning speed
Memorising an entire shuffled pack of cards in under 15 seconds
Memorising parts of a phone book
Predicting in advance an improbable series of actions that a group of audience members will take before they are even aware of it
Identifying a word that exists only in the mind of an audience member and its exact location in a dictionary
Correctly identifying the starsigns of a group of audience members
Solving a Sudoku puzzle in under 2 minutes
Telling audience members personal (but not embarrassing) bits of information about themselves that Michael could not possibly know in advance
In all, the show is a captivating journey into what can be achieved with the mind.

Paul Malek, is one of the leading magicians in Gauteng. He is respected by his peers as both a performer and teacher of this fascinating art.

ROBIN BOLTMAN, “Mr Magish”, a Cape Town lad, was offered his first professional job as a comedy magician aboard the M.S. Astor as resident entertainer, when it sailed from Cape Town in 1984.

Since then, Robin has enjoyed successes on several cruise liners, including two down the Nile. He spent five Christmases and birthdays on board the Achille Lauro and became a household name when he took over the bridge during the sinking of the Oceanos. He is still a regular cruiser with Starlight Cruises.

Robin was the first South African born speciality act to be featured in an extravaganza (“Escapades”) at Sun City. He also performed in many show reviews at various Sun International resorts – “Jokers Wild”, “Just for Kicks” and “Showstoppers”, to name a few.

His proud moment came when he was awarded America’s personality of the week, for his courageous actions aboard the Oceanos. Unfortunately he sank again on the Achille Lauro – not even David Copperfield could make two ships disappear in one year!!

Recognised by his peers, he was awarded a gold medal by the South African Magic Council inscribed “for bravery and outstanding service to magic”.

Viv Kirk has been performing magic for nearly 14 years.

He performs in restaurants, nightclubs, conference venues, pubs, hotels and casinos. He has also performed at functions on trains, planes and buses.

Viv’s act consists of slick "Catch Me If You Can” magic with cards, cigarettes, silks, coins, dice and everyday items found on a diner’s table.
