Andre appeared in his first TV advertisement at the tender age of 4. His entire youth was spent at drama lessons and on stage, but not until the day he saw the legendary South African Hypnotist, Max Collie, did he truly know what he wanted to do. Andre describes it as the very moment he knew what his future would be.
Under the guidance of master teachers such as Max Collie, Ormand McGill (internationally renowned hypnotist) and Delevar (teacher and then chairman of the British Council of Stage Hypnotists), Andre slowly mastered the art of the magic of the mind.
At the tender age of 20, under the guidance of manager and entertainment agent Neil Cohen, Andre stepped onto the stage at the Bloemfontein Civic Theatre to thunderous applause. He was booked for six performances in all, but had to return the following weekend for another four, when the theatre was again filled to capacity. The rest is history.
Today, Andre is a well-known celebrity who continues to fill theatres across the country and beyond our borders, including a very successful recent run in Australia.
His special brand of hypnotism is cutting-edge, hysterically funny and has mass appeal, leaving his audiences enthusing for weeks.
